Relocating to St. Albert

The Anthony Henday provides quick access to west Edmonton, south Edmonton, and Sherwood Park without passing through the city core. For commuters heading to the University of Alberta, downtown, or the south side, the Henday is the most efficient route.

St. Albert Transit provides bus service into Edmonton, including express routes to major transit hubs. The city is also actively expanding cycling infrastructure, and many residents cycle to work in warmer months.

St. Albert has a distinct identity — it's not a suburb of Edmonton so much as its own city that happens to be adjacent to one. The Sturgeon River valley runs through the heart of the city, providing kilometres of trails, parks, and green space. The Farmers' Market (one of Alberta's largest and longest-running) runs every Saturday from May through October.

The Arden Theatre hosts professional performances year-round. The Servus Credit Union Place is a major recreation complex with pools, arenas, and fitness facilities. The city has a strong arts community, active minor sports leagues, and a well-developed network of community leagues.
